For me, filmmaking has been that conduit to see life through someone else's experience. Whether in a documentary exposing its audience to the real life of another or a complete work of fiction asking us to imagine a different story, film has the power to get us as close to that direct experience as possible. With every new project I embark on, my world expands. I learn to embrace more people. I gain a perspective I have never considered. Every story finds its way in and transforms my life.
